Celebrate the 100th anniversary of ‘Plymouth’s Greatest Gift’ - The Cottonian Collection’s arrival at the City Museum and Art Gallery.

This nationally important collection encompasses a 2,000 volume book library, several thousand prints, Old Master drawings, oil paintings, bronzes and sculptures.

Monstrous art works including an enormous typhoon and a giant eyeball are currently on show at Radiant Art Gallery, Plymouth City Centre.

Following two months of intensive training as art curators with Effervescent’s team, nine talented girls aged 10 – 14 came up with the idea for the show and selected art works by five artists based in Plymouth, in the UK, and in Europe.

The show is called I’m Beautiful Now, and it’s a powerful evocation of what it’s like to be a young carer.

Valiant Soldier exhibition marks Devon town’s role in Great War

Buckfastleigh’s time-capsule tourist attraction, the Valiant Soldier, is putting on a unique local exhibition about World War One.

See a special joint exhibition between Peninsula Arts, Plymouth University and Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery that celebrates the work of internationally recognised artist and sculptor, Peter Randall-Page.
