Appeal to locate man following assault in Newquay

Police in Newquay are seeking to locate and arrest Frazer Rogers aged 28 years, in connection with an alleged assault which occurred in Newquay on Friday 5 April. Police say that all enquiries to date have failed to locate him.

Rogers is described as a white man, 5’11” in height, slim build, with short straight brown hair. He is known to frequent both Newquay and Truro.

Inquests open into deaths of teenagers in Honiton house fire

The inquests into the deaths of the two teenagers who died following a house fire in Honiton were opened yesterday in Exeter.

Coroner Dr Elizabeth Earland said that the identities of Andrew Gunn, 18 and 17-year-old Rosie Bennillick, identified at the hearing as Child A, had been confirmed by their mothers. The teenagers died at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
