The co-founders of one of East Devon’s newest eateries, Coldharbour Field Kitchen in Ottery St Mary were almost speechless when they scooped gold at the Devon Tourism Awards.
Andrea Broadhurst and Beth Ashfield attended the awards event held at Home Park, Plymouth Argyle Football Club, where the Field Kitchen was a finalist in the Casual Dining category.
Plymouth University is a winner of a prestigious Gold Award in the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2014.
The Gold Award in the prestigious annual scheme run by RoSPA will be presented during a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, at the National Exhibition Centre, on May 14, 2014.
Plymouth University’s Students’ Union (UPSU) has won gold in the Green Impact Students’ Union scheme for the second year running, celebrating its sustainable and environmentally friendly ethos.
The national initiative, led by the National Union of Students, recognises unions who work to limit their impact on the environment and operate in a sustainable way.
