Plymouth University receives funding for new renewable energy system

Plymouth University has been awarded more than £500,000 to enhance the use of renewable energy in buildings on its campus.

The grant, from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), will see a range of new technologies installed in the Charles Seale-Hayne Library and the Students’ Union building.

The University of Plymouth Students' Union (UPSU) has decided to change the way it selects its annual 2013/14 RAG charities by giving members of the university's website a chance to vote.
