Police are investigating after a mystery pool of blood was found on Hoe Road in Plymouth at the weekend.

The blood was found near the bathing area changing rooms on Hoe Road at 8am on Sunday 17 November.

The location was not near the area known locally as the Wedding Cake as previously stated.

Fatal two-car collision in Cornwall

A 75-year-old local woman has died following a serious collision on the A395 near Camelford in Cornwall.
