Plymouth woman charged with GBH after car collides with man

A 43-year-old Plymouth woman has been charged with grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving after a car collided with a male pedestrian in the city.

The incident occurred in Outland Road at 11:30am on Saturday (9 November) causing the road to be closed for five hours.

The man was taken to Derriford Hospital although his injuries are understood not to be life-threatening.

Fiona Frost of Taunton Avenue, Plymouth, appeared before city magistrates on Monday 11 November.

She was released on conditional bail and is due to appear at the Crown Court on 2 December.
