Consultation on Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan for Barnstaple, Bideford and Northam

A public consultation has been launched by Devon County Council today (Wednesday 21 September) on proposals that aim to close the gaps in the cycling and walking network in the Barnstaple, Bideford and Northam area.

Pensioner charged with GBH over North Devon stabbing

A 72-year-old North Devon woman has been charged with violently attacking a 79-year-old man in Northam in North Devon.

Anne Tucker, from the Bideford area, has been charged with grievous bodily harm, after the man was found with a number of stab wounds to his neck, hands and leg.

72-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after North Devon stabbing

Police have arrested a 72-year-old woman at a property in North Devon on suspicion of attempted murder.

Devon and Cornwall Police were called to a property in Northam at around 2.40am on Monday (16 September 2013) after receiving reports that a man had been stabbed.

On arrival officers found a man, aged 79, with a number of stab wounds to his neck, hands and leg.
