Arrests after Bideford incident

Police have moved to reassure the residents of Bideford after an incident yesterday, which saw a large police presence in the town, including armed officers.

Five people have been arrested and officers said they are not looking for anybody else in connection with the incident.

They also said there is an increased police presence in the town to provide reassurance.
