Otterly Inspired

Devon otters have inspired a new novel by bestselling author, Hazel Prior. Dartmoor Otter Sanctuary and Buckfast Butterfly Farm helped in the creation of this delightful story which revolves around a mystery at an otter sanctuary.

The local, family-run centre rehabilitates orphaned, abandoned or injured otters for re-release into the wild, and is also an educational tourist attraction...

Free family event: Make 3D Graffiti

Join us for a fun event this half-term holiday. You can bring the family and get creative with colours - stencil, cut and fold to make moving letters, shapes and symbols. Help craft an amazing 3D graffiti model in our gallery space! This event is part of the Masters of Invention exhibition wi with craft and design works based on street art styles, here at the Guild in Bovey Tracey.

Build a blow-up spatial structure! Tom Randall-Page will introduce you to the exciting world of inflatable spaces. Your group will design and build a large, futuristic blow-up structure - the type commonly used for festivals, camping, temporary nightclubs and moveable fun. The workshop would suit ANYONE over 14 yrs but might be of particular interest to young people and students interested in art, 3D design and architecture.
