The Nourish Food Fair will fill Bovey's high street with some of the best producers from the South West on Sat 3 September. Stalls will be selling a huge variety of locally produced food including artisan cheeses, preserves, handmade chocolates, oils, pies and speciality mushrooms.

Fire crews rescue labrador puppy stuck in a wine rack

A ten-week-old puppy that found itself stuck in a wine rack has been rescued by Fire and Rescue crews.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident at a property in Mary Street, Bovey Tracey where they found the labrador puppy stuck in a wine rack.

They got to work to release the puppy using small tools.

The puppy was released unharmed.
