Devon Sports Awards 2014 Finalists Revealed

The finalists in this year’s Exeter Foundation Devon Sports Awards, in association with Active Devon have been revealed.

They include sportsmen and women, clubs, coaches and volunteers from all four corners of the county.

Boost for disability sport in Devon

Active Devon has been awarded a grant of £207,220 from Sport England to develop inclusive sporting opportunities for disabled people.

The Inclusive Sport programme is designed to increase the number of young people (aged 14 plus) and adults regularly playing sport as part of Sport England’s wider commitment to increasing regular sport participation by disabled people.

Ben Fisher leads the way for Ecover SUP Team

The Ecover Blue Mile teamed up with Naish UK to field 19 paddlers in the Head of the Dart stand up paddle board race – the biggest SUP race in Britain.
