New family events at Smeaton’s Tower

Plymouth City Council's arts and heritage service has launched a brand new series of family-friendly events at Smeaton’s Tower.

‘Smeaton’s Tower Rocks’ will take place on Sunday 12 June, with a chance to paint lighthouse scenes on pebbles collected from the local foreshore.

Visitors will be able to paint ‘Sunny Seaside Scenes’ on Sunday 17 July and make ‘Super Seabird Puppets’...

Trial lighting for landmarks

Plymouth’s much loved landmarks are coming a step closer to being permanently lit.

Charles Church and Smeaton’s Tower will be in the spotlight for one night – 11 November – as part of a trial lighting scheme.
