SW gains new world-class bouldering wall as climbing rises in popularity

The Climbing Hangar will open the doors to its biggest bouldering wall yet in Plymouth on Saturday 24th February.

The dedicated bouldering wall is housed in what was the Hovis bread factory in Honicknowle. Measuring 15,000 square feet, the Climbing Hangar Plymouth will provide world-class facilities to seasoned climbers as well as those new to the sport.

European first for Devon climbing centre

100 schoolchildren from a Devon Village school were the first to experience the heights of fun at a new climb launched at Clip ‘N Climb on Exeter Quay. The pupils from Sidbury Primary School were invited to take up the challenge of the new ‘Astroball’ climb, the first of its kind in Europe, before it opened to the general public.
