Residents at The Firs enjoy seaside cruise with Stuart Line Cruises

Residents from The Firs enjoyed a wonderful day out at sea this week, as they boarded a Stuart Line Cruise for an afternoon of sunshine, sea air and beautiful coastal views.

The group set sail along 2.5 miles of golden sandy beach before heading out into the English Channel, where residents were able to take in the fresh sea breeze and stunning scenery on what turned out to be a glorious day.

The trip was filled with smiles, laughter and plenty of conversation, with residents enjoying the chance to spend time together, make new memories and experience a lovely change of scenery.

Emma, Home Manager at The Firs, said: “It was such a lovely afternoon for everyone. There is something really special about being by the sea, and our residents thoroughly enjoyed the cruise, the views and the wonderful care shown by the captain and crew.

“Days like this mean so much. They give our residents the chance to enjoy new experiences, reminisce about past holidays and simply have fun together.”
