Ready, Set, GO… Drake Circus hosts its own indoor sports day

Drake Circus put on a range of sporting events that would put Plymouth's very own mini athletes to the test last week.

With Little running races, skipping challenges and the 2017 HOOPLA championships, visitors had the chance to prove themselves as the best athlete in Drake Circus Indoor Sports Day.

Police investigate assault in Stonehouse area of Plymouth

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Anstis Street and Francis Street in the Stonehouse area of Plymouth.

At around 5.40pm on Tuesday 15th August, a 42-year-old man was assaulted by three men who subsequently fled the scene.

The victim sustained facial injuries and a suspected fractured skull for which he has received treatment at hospital.

Get ready, set, race! Last chance to enter Pretty Muddy in Plymouth

WOMEN in Plymouth are being urged to make a last minute dash to enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life as there are just five weeks left until registration closes.

The Broadway in Plymstock excited over 14,000 visitors with a family fun day on Saturday 19th August in aid of The Stroke Association.

The fun day was held to raise money for The Stroke Association, prompted by the Centre Manager’s loss of both parents after suffering strokes in recent years.

48% of dog owners in Devon could be breaking the law

On Tuesday 22nd August Drake Circus hosted their very own Garden Games which encouraged children to take on their parents with a family day of giant garden games! With Jenga, Connect Four, and Bowling the day proved a hit with everyone who attended!
