Police investigate assault in Stonehouse area of Plymouth

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Anstis Street and Francis Street in the Stonehouse area of Plymouth.

At around 5.40pm on Tuesday 15th August, a 42-year-old man was assaulted by three men who subsequently fled the scene.

The victim sustained facial injuries and a suspected fractured skull for which he has received treatment at hospital.

Three men, aged 39, 28, and 19 have all been arrested in connection with this attack and have been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who may have information relevant to the investigation.
