
Discover Dartmouth Celebrates 10 Years of Supporting Local Business and Tourism
Discover Dartmouth is celebrating a significant milestone after marking its 10th anniversary with a special birthday celebration held last night at the Sail Loft in Dartmouth.
Since its launch a decade ago, Discover Dartmouth has grown into the longest standing leading promotional platform for the town, helping to showcase Dartmouth's unique businesses, attractions, hospitality sector, and events to visitors from across the UK and beyond.
The anniversary event brought together local business owners, partners, and supporters to reflect on the organisation's achievements and the collective success of Dartmouth's vibrant business community.
Over the past ten years, Discover Dartmouth has seen remarkable growth in its reach and influence. The Discover Dartmouth website now attracts more than 250,000 visitors annually, providing inspiration, information, and practical guidance for people planning visits to the town throughout the year.
Membership has also continued to strengthen, with over 50 local businessesnow actively supporting and benefiting from the Discover Dartmouth network. The organisation's newsletter database has grown to more than 9,000 subscribers, creating a direct connection with visitors and Dartmouth enthusiasts who regularly engage with news, events, and special offers from the town.
Social media engagement has also experienced sustained growth, with audience interaction increasing month on month across Discover Dartmouth's channels, helping to raise the profile of Dartmouth and its businesses to an ever-wider audience.
Speaking at the anniversary celebration, representatives of Discover Dartmouth thanked members, partners, and the wider community for their continued support over the last decade.
