Devon Carers at Westbank marks Carers Week 2025

Carers Week (9th – 15th June) is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don’t see themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

This year’s theme is ‘Caring About Equality’. We are asking everyone to help Devon Carers at Westbank raise awareness of carers and to thank them for the invaluable role they carry out. We will be holding a host of free events across Devon, providing advice at a number of information stands and carers can also register to attend our Carer Friendly Devon conference at Exminster, near Exeter, from 1 - 4 pm on Tuesday 10th June. It's free to attend but you must pre-book as places are limited.
