Tonia Couch wins first individual World Series medal

Plymouth's Tonia Couch has won a bronze medal in the Diving World Series event in Guadalajara, Mexico, the first individual medal for a British woman.

The 24-year-old was lying fourth in the final round of the 10m platform into her final dive. She produced a high quality dive, receiving scores of nines and a 10 from the judges to finish in third place.

Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow take bronze again

Plymouth diving duo, Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow have won bronze in the FINA/MIDEA world series event in Guadalajara in Mexico.

The pair followed their recent bronze in the grand prix in Fort Lauderdale with another third place in the 10m synchro, holding off pressure from the Canadian duo in a tightly fought competition.

Tom Daley wins World Series event in Edinburgh

Plymouth's young diving hero Tom Daley has won the 10m platform final at the World Series event in Edinburgh this evening (Sunday 21 April).

In only his second major event since clinching a bronze medal in the Olympics, the 18-year-old beat a field that included the man he pushed into fourth place at London 2012 last year, the Russian Victor Minibaev who finished second.
