The 20th year of Plymouth's half marathon began with 30 seconds of silence to remember those killed and injured in the bomb explosions at the Boston Marathon.

Tom Daley wins World Series event in Edinburgh

Plymouth's young diving hero Tom Daley has won the 10m platform final at the World Series event in Edinburgh this evening (Sunday 21 April).

In only his second major event since clinching a bronze medal in the Olympics, the 18-year-old beat a field that included the man he pushed into fourth place at London 2012 last year, the Russian Victor Minibaev who finished second.
