Gold Dust Appeal hits £100,000 target

Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust are delighted to announce today, as a special Christmas present for 10,000 children and families who use the service each year, their Gold Dust Appeal has reached its £100,000 target to refurbish the children’s wards and corridors at Derriford Hospital.

Senior Curator at the V&A Museum, Joanna is an expert on 17th and 18th-century European art and design, specifically looking at Italy and France. She was responsible for the newly redesigned 'Europe 1600-1800’ galleries at the V&A which opened in December 2015. Plymouth murder victim named

Police have launched a murder investigation that is being carried out by the major crime investigation team.

Enquiries are ongoing and a number of lines of enquiry are being pursued.

A 35 year old man who was arrested over the weekend, remains in police custody, following the discovery of a body at a first floor flat on Union Street in Plymouth on Saturday 17 December.
