Did you witness assault at Derriford Hospital?

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman assaulted a man outside Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.

The incident happened between 2.15pm and 2.45pm on Friday 6 January at a zebra crossing the zebra crossing in front of the MRI scanner in car park F.

A male pedestrian was crossing the road and held up his hand to indicate an oncoming driver to stop.

The female driver then got out of her vehicle and an argument broke out between them. The woman then pushed the man and punched him in the arm and chest.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault and are particularly keen to hear from one member of the public who is believed to have recorded the incident on their mobile phone.

They are seeking the offender who is described as white, around 5ft 5ins tall, with long black hair. She was wearing a blue top and she was driving a jeep-style vehicle.
