Devon’s Naturally Healthy May campaign is all about harnessing the power of nature and physical activity to improve our health and wellbeing. It’s a fantastic time to head outside and enjoy some fresh air and Spring weather.

Residents in Plymouth have three weeks left to register to vote so that they can have their say at this year’s local elections in May.

Everyone that is registered before Friday 7 February will be included in the next Register publication. Individuals that do not register will not be included in the Register and will not be able to vote.

When 25-year-old Charlotte Slee from North Devon brought three Jacob sheep 10 years ago, little did she think it would be the start of a prize-winning flock.

Sky Ride Plymouth returns to Central Park

Following the success of last year’s event, Sky Ride is coming back to Plymouth for a second time in May.

Sky Ride is a free event that encourages people to get on a bike and have fun cycling on traffic free paths. Last year Plymouth City Council, in partnership with British Cycling, hosted the cycling event which saw over 7,000 people taking part.

Plymouth’s first-ever History Festival will take place from 1 to 31 May 2013 and aims to highlight Plymouth’s unique history and heritage.

EasyLet celebrates two years of turning empty houses into homes

Plymouth City Council's EasyLet scheme is celebrating two highly successful years of finding homes for people by bringing empty properties back into use.

Since the rental management service was launched in December 2010, 52 landlords have signed up and 62 households have been settled into new homes.
