A Conversation About Race

The Plymouth Fairness Commission has teamed up with the Plymouth and Devon Racial Equality Council to host ‘A Conversation About Race’ on 20 November, inviting BME groups in Plymouth to talk about issues of unfairness that they face in the city.

The event will take place between 6pm-8pm at Babbage Lecture Theatre, Plymouth University. Commissioners will listen to what residents find to be fair and unfair about living in Plymouth. St Luke's Swimathon

Make a splash at Plymouth Life Centre! For the second year running this venue promises to provide a stunning setting for St Luke’s sponsored Swimathon. On Saturday 21st September 2013, swimmers will have the chance to enjoy the first class facilities whilst raising vital funds for St Luke’s.

The Swimathon event opens at 6.30pm at the Plymouth Life Centre. The swim will consist of three distances to choose from; 1km and 2km for individuals or the ultimate 5km as a team only.

Plymouth Albion RFC's new head coach, James Shanahan is inviting people to share his vision for the future of the rugby club.

Shanahan will be discussing his plans at a special event on Thursday 23 May at 6pm at the Kier Marquee.
