British Heart Foundation (BHF) shops are launching their biggest stock donation appeal, the Great British Bag-athon with an event on Friday 27 September at Drake Circus. Plymouth to be consulted on new polymer bank notes

Woman dies after fall from Drake Circus car park

A woman who fell from level five of the Drake Circus car park in Plymouth this morning (Wednesday 12 June) has died from her injuries in Derriford Hospital.

Police say her family was with her when she died.

City of Culture bid sparks debate in pop-up shop

Shoppers will be able to rest their weary feet and share their views on Plymouth’s bid to become UK City of Culture 2017 at a pop up shop in Drake Circus mall. The bid is hijacking the Plymouth Plan sofa which is currently on tour as part of a consultation on the future of the city.
