Children and young people from 36 schools across Plymouth will be coming together to sing their favourite carols at this year’s Plymouth Music Education Hub (PMEH) Schools Carol Services.

The Lord Mayor of Plymouth has been invited to attend the school carol services at the Minster Church of St Andrew on:

Thursday 8 December 1.00pm

Friday 9 December 10.00am

Friday 9 December 1.00pm

The services will all be led by the Reverend Joe Dent.

Lord Mayor of Plymouth, Councillor Pauline Murphy said: “These are some of the events that I look forward to all year. The children and young people that take part in them really do work hard and it’s a fantastic opportunity for them to perform in front of their family and friends.”

Fiona Pendreigh, Head of Plymouth Youth Music Service said: “We are delighted that this event continues to be so popular.  It is a key part of the Christmas celebrations in the city.”

Parents and families are welcome to attend but seating will be limited due to the large numbers of participants.
