Physiotherapist to receive special award from PM
Baz Jambor, Clinical Lead Physiotherapist for Rheumatology and Hydrotherapy, has won a NRAS Healthcare Champion Award, which celebrates the work of dedicated health professionals.
After being nominated by a network of members from the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS), many of whom are his previous patients, Baz has been invited to a special parliamentary event in November at the House of Commons to have his award presented by founding NRAS patron, the Prime Minister, the Rt Hon. Theresa May MP.
Baz said: “I am absolutely delighted to be receiving this award, I really am so pleased. Apart from this being a reflection on my own achievement, it is also a reflection on the Physiotherapy Department, the Rheumatology Unit and the Trust itself.”
Nicki Martin, Director of Therapy Services, said: “I would like to congratulate Baz on this fantastic achievement and I am sure you will join me in congratulating him on this award. I would also like to thank him for his work in going above and beyond for his patients when required.”
