A WINTER'S TALE

SOME BEAUTIFUL WORKS OF ART TO LIFT THE WINTER GLOOM

This winter we are all really missing the simple things - a proper chat with our friends, a drink at our favourite pub, a big hug from someone we love - so it's really important to do what we can to keep our spirits up and look forward to happier times, which are surely just around the corner.

One way we try to keep positive and healthy is to surround ourselves with beautiful and meaningful works of art, works which are created with a great deal of thought, care and love. In the gallery we know how important this is and the huge difference it makes to our mood and wellbeing.  A beautiful painting can give you a different window on the world, it can rest the soul and nourish the mind. So we promise we will always try to present to you works that will make you feel better, that lift your spirits, and bring great joy.

This year's winter exhibition, which opens on 2nd December, includes a varied collection of paintings by Sabina Pieper, Teresa PembertonMichael HillSimeon Stafford, Barry Kelly and Julie Ellis .  In addition, we are delighted to be displaying portraits by Sianan Bunt, a graduate from  the Plymouth College of Art and this year's winner of the Brownston Fresh Talent Award.

With reserved viewing times and late night openings on Tuesday and Thursday, we will make shopping with us a fun experience - just click on the email link below to book your spot. Let us help you make this a Christmas to remember, whether you are able to be with your loved ones or are making do round the kitchen table with Zoom, whatever happens, let's do it with style and love!
