City council launches alternate weekly collections in Plymouth

Store staff threatened by machete

At around 7.45pm on Thursday evening (4 May) a man entered the Premier Store on Regent Street in the Greenbank area of Plymouth and threatened staff.

It is understood he was carrying a machete-type knife. He demanded money, tobacco and cigarettes and then left the store. It is thought that he left with around £200-300 worth of cash and goods.
