Officers are appealing for witnesses following a hit-and-run collision in Plymstock, which left a 17-year-boy with leg injuries.

Police were notified around 11.15am on Sunday 30 July to reports of an incident on Wembury Road, between Blackstone Close and Crossroads garage, Elburton.

Witnesses at the scene report that a dark coloured vehicle, possibly an Audi which was travelling from Wembury, rounded the corner on the other side of the road, causing other vehicles to take action in order to avoid the car.

As a result of this a motorcyclist, a 17-year-old boy, suffered leg injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital.

The offending vehicle continued on and may possibly be unaware of the collision that had been caused.

If you were in the area at the time and can identify this vehicle, or came across the collision shortly after it occurred and have a dash-cam footage that may show the other vehicle involved as it passed, please contact MPC 5014 Talbot via 101@dc.policeuk or call 101 quoting log number 0380 30/07/17.
