Number of jobseekers in Devon continues to fall

The number of people claiming Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) in Devon is continuing to fall, with figures decreasing by 204 claimants over the past month.

Claimants in Devon have fallen from 6,717 in September to 6,513 in October meaning that figures have now decreased over the past eight consecutive months.

Fatal two-car collision in Cornwall

A 75-year-old local woman has died following a serious collision on the A395 near Camelford in Cornwall.
