Santa Paws Is Coming to Town: Cofton Holidays Invites Dogs to Meet Santa in a Festive Grotto Experience
The UK’s top dog-friendly holiday park - Cofton Holidays in South Devon - is adding an extra sprinkle of Christmas joy this year with the launch of Santa Paws at Cofton. A festive grotto experience where dogs can meet Santa himself, pose for adorable photos, and enjoy a tail-wagging day out with the whole family.
Cofton is well known as a haven for waggy-tailed holiday makers, and has just been crowned ‘Top Dog-Friendly Holiday Park 2025’ at the Kennel Club Awards for the second year running. Keen to extend their generous hospitality into the festive season, for the very first time Cofton is welcoming four-legged visitors into its beautifully decorated Mongolian yurt grotto from now until 21st December, giving pups the chance to step into a world of twinkling lights, cosy Christmas décor, and festive cheer.
A ‘Paw-fect’ Christmas Treat
The exclusive Santa Paws event is designed to be a heart-warming experience for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Each canine visitor will enjoy:
- A friendly meet-and-greet with Santa Claus
- A festive photo moment sure to get tails wagging
- A special doggy gift to take home
- Plenty of strokes, treats, and festive fuss from Cofton’s Christmas elves
Humans aren’t left out either, families can explore Cofton’s full Christmas Wonderland, enjoy seasonal food and drink across the park, and take-home Elfie-Selfies to remember the day.
“We’re incredibly proud of our dog-friendly facilities here at Cofton,” said Chris Jeffery, Director at Cofton Holidays. “From dog-friendly lodges to welcome hampers and dedicated exercise fields, dogs really are part of the family. So this year, we wanted to do something special and what better than letting your four-legged friend meet Santa? It’s going to be a pawsitively magical experience.”
