Pop into your local Pop In centre
The Royal British Legion’s Pop In Centre in Plymouth is one of 16 high street sites around the country taking part in an innovative retail project, this October and November, looking to bring a host of exciting poppy themed products to the high street.
Included in the products for sale will be this year’s special edition Poppy Brooch. Part of a collection of brooches from the Legion, which in the past have found favour with everyone from X-Factor judges and MIC stars to Jessica Ennis-Hill and HRH The Duchess of Cambridge, the spectacular brooch features a stunning red enamel poppy, with black crystal centre, whose design is based on the emblematic flower used as a symbol of remembrance and hope. The brooch, available in two sizes and styles, features silver or gold edging and three green hand painted enamel leaves.
Also available will be further jewellery, including lapel pins, bracelets and cufflinks, a range of stylish pet products, sports t-shirts and hoodies, mugs and bags.
The Poppy Shop is the official retail outlet of The Royal British Legion and all profits raised from their products go directly to the charity.
From this week, the Pop In information centre on Armada Way will be offering a host of poppy related goods to help you show your support for The Royal British Legion and the important work they do in providing care and support to members of the British Armed Forces, veterans and their families - with all funds raised going directly to the charity.
If you’re unable to get to the Pop In advice and information centre, on 174 Armada Way, you can also buy poppy products online at www.poppyshop.org.uk
