Police investigate Plymouth pub assault

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Plymouth

The assault took place at The Dog and Duck on Mutley Plain between 11.55pm on Friday 9 September and 12.05am on Saturday 10 September.

A 27-year-old man was sitting with friends in the pub when an unknown man has thrown a pool cue at the victim and then approached him, punching him in the face.

The victim sustained several fractures to his eye socket, jaw and cheekbone as a result of the attack.
