
NHS Professionals support Gold Dust
A cheque for £250.00 has been presented to the Gold Dust Appeal by members of NHS Professionals (NHSP).
NHSP run an annual survey for Trust users to rate their service provision as Bank partner, and this year offered a £250.00 donation to a charity of choice when the survey was completed. Karen Launder, Nursing Workforce Support Manager, chose the Gold Dust Appeal to receive the funds.
Karen, along with James Tayler, Trust Liaison Co-ordinator for NHS Professionals in the Trust, presented the cheque to Anita Dykes, Matron for Paediatrics and Emma Cronin, Gold Dust Fundraising Manager.
James said: “NHSP works in close partnership with Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust and we are extremely proud to make this donation to the Gold Dust Appeal to support the great work they do for children and their families.”
Emma said: “I’d like to say a big thank you to members of NHSP and to Karen for choosing Gold Dust again for this donation. I would encourage anyone else to help us with fundraising or join in with the activities that we have organised, as we only have a few months to go to reach our grand total.”

The Gold Dust Appeal aims to raise £100,000 to create a bright, exciting and welcoming environment throughout the children’s and young people’s areas on level 12 of Derriford Hospital.
