Families get green-fingered at B&Q Plymouth
During half term this week, B&Q Plymouth hosted a family fun day to help keep the kids amused and inspire them to get outdoors and enjoy gardening. On 14th February, the store hosted a day full of activities, including a planting workshop where children and their parents learnt how to grow their own food and flowers.
As well as getting the opportunity to be green-fingered, families were able to enjoy lots of other fun and games, including painters, stilt walkers, a balloon modeller and giveaways.
Grant Bibb, Unit Manager at B&Q Plymouth, said: “It was great to see so many people from the local area visit us for our fun day and everyone got really stuck into the planting workshop. We hope we showed families how easy it is to grow your own vegetables and flowers, and we can’t wait to hear from our customers how well their plants have grown over the coming months.”
