Drake Circus welcomes new gifting and homeware shop

A new gifting and homeware shop has officially opened its doors at Drake Circus (on Friday 26th May).

The brand-new store will offer shoppers a range of greeting cards for special occasions, along with gift wrap, quirky home décor, candles, stationery, Jellycat toys and more.

Mooch is located on the centre’s upper floor, taking over the former Paperchase unit.

Greg Lumley, centre director at Drake Circus, said: “It’s a very exciting time for Drake Circus and The Barcode as we prepare to welcome a range of new brands to our retail and leisure offering.

“I’m sure that Mooch will be a big hit with shoppers looking for unique and quirky gifts for their loved ones or just to treat themselves too!”

Mooch is one of four new openings to be announced at Drake Circus and The Barcode in the past month.

Luxury cosmetics retailer Rituals will be opening its first Plymouth store this summer, whilst Quiz will also be also reopening its doors at the centre. Spinners, a new leisure operator offering activities from bowling to darts is also set to open at The Barcode in the coming months.
