A vibrant showcase of work by independent makers from across the South West will take place at Escot House on Saturday 21 March, as the Artisans at Escot Spring Craft Fair returns for its latest event.

Around 30 talented traders will be displaying their creations throughout the venue’s three spacious day rooms. Visitors can browse beautifully crafted textiles, glass, jewellery, pottery and artwork, alongside delicious small‑batch treats including locally produced rum and artisan cocoa products.

Many of the makers are based in East Devon, with all based in the wider South West region. The fair offers a wonderful opportunity to support small creative businesses and discover one‑off pieces that make thoughtful gifts or a special treat for yourself.

Organiser Gill Melly of SilverRipples Jewellery said: “The Artisan Craft Fair is becoming a regular fixture at Escot. The aim has always been to give local makers a welcoming space to showcase their work and to encourage the community to come along, meet the makers and show their support.”

Visitors can also enjoy homemade cakes, biscuits and savoury snacks prepared by Escot’s in‑house catering team. Tea, coffee and a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks will be available, with the bar open throughout the day.

The Artisans at Escot Spring Craft Fair takes place on Saturday 21 March, 10am–4pm, at Escot House, Escot Estate, EX11 1LU. Entry and parking are free, with parking available directly outside the house. Please note that access is via stairs and is unsuitable for wheelchair users.

Future events include the Clay South West ceramics fair on 6 June and the Autumn craft fair on 10 October, perfectly timed for early festive shopping.
