Appeal after teenager assaulted in Plymouth

Police are investigating an assault in Wolsey Road, Plymouth, between 7.10pm and 7.20pm on Saturday 1st October 2016.

The incident happened near to the TSB bank and the Roopagnor takeaway.

The victim, a 13-year-old boy from Plymouth, was assaulted by another male of similar age in an unprovoked attack. The victim was pushed to the ground and kicked, causing bruising to his head.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, and in particular a man wearing a hooded top who was driving past and who stopped to help.
