Appeal after Plymouth assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 21-year-old man was assaulted by two or more males on Sutton Road at the junction with Exeter Street, Plymouth City Centre.

The incident occurred at 3.20am on Thursday 6th October 2016. It is believed that the man was walking on his own, having left Oceana Nightclub, and was heading toward North Hill.

The victim was taken to Derriford hospital where he was treated for extensive swelling and bruising to his face.
