Cornwall-based home creator, bunnyhomes, has launched a brand new 24 home neighbourhood: Blackberry Lane, in the Cornish village of Kilkhampton.

Just a few miles north of the seaside town of Bude, Kilkhampton is a desirable location, nestled between the Cornwall and Devon border, surrounded by green lands and golden sands.

Blackberry Lane is an exclusive neighbourhood of 34 homes, including a range of local parish homes. The development consists of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes from bunnyhomes’ Craft Collection, inspired by Georgian architecture, fused with modern day living.

Included within the development, is a selection of local parish homes offering affordable housing options, which are both organised and managed by specialist, Government-backed housing companies. For local people who are not quite ready to buy outright, there are ownership options which allow individuals to buy gradually, as well as rental opportunities.

Councillor Linda Taylor, leader at Cornwall Council, says, I was privileged to visit one of the bunnyhomes developments in Carbis Bay, and as with all their projects, this is a mixed tenure site. There is no difference in the quality of build and design in any of the housing, for me this was an important element of the ethos of bunnyhomes and the attention to detail for our communities.”

Over 75% of bunnyhomes’ spend is on regionally sourced products, supporting the local communities it builds by. The bespoke houses include, as standard, tailored kitchens, extra-large patios and artisan-made porches.

Founded by Tracey in 2013, bunnyhomes is a family business which creates stunning neighbourhoods with a difference across Cornwall and Devon for rent or to buy. The business has evolved from a handful of people to a full team in bunny HQ, Bodmin.

bunnyhomes is changing the way local people think about new homes, from building better, more beautiful homes to putting wellness at the centre of their thinking. Since their conception, bunnyhomes has invested more than £20 million in the Cornwall and Devon economy, ensuring to keep supporting the local community at the heart of the business.
