Local chefs and hospitality professionals will come together with catering students from South Devon College and City College Plymouth on June 24th at Kitley House Hotel and Restaurant, near Yealmpton.

The special event, organised by The Chefs’ Forum, will see chefs and front-of-house staff from across the county rub shoulders with catering suppliers and aspiring college students. Billed as ‘A Chefs’ Summer BBQ’, the day will offer inspiring butchery demonstrations and a great networking opportunity for hospitality professionals from Devon and neighbouring counties.

Guest chefs and Devon Food Heroes Peter Gorton (Master Chef of Great Britain) and Jim Fisher (Exeter Cookery School) will showcase signature dishes in a Cookery Masterclass, following a mini trade show by top local and national suppliers and service providers. The day, which runs from 12 pm until 3.30 pm, will finish with an afternoon tea prepared by the students, served in the beautiful surroundings of Kitley, which has recently undergone extensive renovation and refurbishment under new ownership.

The event is free to attend for chefs and hospitality professionals. To book a place, contact rebecca@redcherry.uk.com
