Flapjackery is proudly supporting Tavistock Heritage Week, which runs from September 12 to September 21, 2025. The local business has created two huge versions of its best-selling Millionaire’s flapjack, equivalent to 12 giant chunks, which will be on display in its shop window and in the Guildhall. These impressive treats feature a special design piped in chocolate, showcasing bees, honeycomb, and dotted lines, perfectly reflecting the "Architecture - Buildings, Bridges and Beehives" theme of the week.

To add to the festivities, Flapjackery will also be making special honey flapjacks. Children who participate in the town's guided tours will receive mini samples of these treats.

At the conclusion of the week, the enormous flapjacks will be donated to a deserving community group. The public can nominate a group by visiting the Flapjackery shop and letting the team know who they would like to see receive a treat.

Flapjackery co-founder, Carol Myott, shared her enthusiasm for the event, stating, “We are delighted to be a part of Tavistock Heritage Week. It is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our town's history and culture. We hope our giant flapjack and special honey creations encourage everyone to explore the vibrant town and all the wonderful events taking place.”

Tavistock Heritage Week is a local celebration of England’s largest free festival of history and culture, Heritage Open Days. This year's national theme is “Architecture - Buildings, Bridges and Beehives,” focusing on the structures that have shaped the town. The event features a wide range of activities, including guided walks, rare building tours, hands-on workshops, and a new exhibition of topographical art.
