Veterans Charity with a Barnstaple Base Benefits from Police Community Fund

Police in Barnstaple have handed over money to The Veterans Charity to help pay for specialist equipment.

The donation of £2,798 will help the national charity deliver training courses, therapy sessions and other activities for those veterans suffering hardship.

More than 500 walkers took part in Trevi’s Warrior Women’s Walk on Sunday, 15 October, raising more than £32,000 for the Plymouth-based charity. They smashed last year’s total.
