Promotions give Kitsons four new Associates

Leading Devon law firm Kitsons has announced the promotion of four employees to Associate status.

The new Associates are Charlie Siegle, a Solicitor, and Stephen Craig, a Probate Manager, both in the firm’s Private Client Team; Jayme Nicholson, a Solicitor in the Employment Team and Jo Davies, a Licensed Conveyancer. The promotions take the firm’s total number of Associates to seven.

Charlie Siegle has specific responsibility for advising on disputes or problems involving wills, probate and estates. He deals with a broad range of cases ranging from will validity claims, Inheritance Act claims and executors’ disputes to estoppels claims and trust disputes.

Jayme Nicholson is a two year qualified Solicitor in the Employment Team having trained with Kitsons in its Torquay and Exeter offices. She predominantly acts for employers locally and nationally but also provides advice to senior employees.

Jo Davies works in the property department and specialises in Residential Conveyancing; particularly sales, purchases, mortgages and transfers of freehold and leasehold property, with both registered and unregistered land.

Stephen Craig steps up to Associate in the Tax, Trust and Probate Team. He specialises in private client probate and trust work.

Kitsons Managing Partner, James Cross said: “These promotions are very well deserved and I would like to congratulate all those concerned. Our four new Associates have clearly demonstrated the qualities and talent to make a significant contribution to the firm, and in return we will support the achievement of their individual ambitions and help them to maximise their career potential.”

Ranked as a regional heavyweight in Chambers & Partners Legal Directory 2013, Kitsons has 16 partners and 87 staff across its three offices in Torquay, Exeter and Plymouth.
