Local authority adoption services in Devon, Plymouth, Torbay and Somerset are joining forces to become a single regional adoption service, under the banner Adopt South West.

Plymouth City Council’s popular garden waste collection will begin again from next week.

The collection operates every fortnight, collected on the same day as either refuge or recycling, depending on the area of the city. Residents are asked to check their garden waste collection day using the online calendar.
