Union Street will be closed for a free family friendly street party - it's the only one of its kind and everyone is welcome!

So far we welcome back some firm favourites to get us dancing and having fun in the street including: Cuckoo Collective, Dub Class, Filipino Dancers, Pole Dancers, Emerge Circus Acts, Ameera and her Belly Dancers, Stonehouse Play Association, free Plymotion bike checks, Stonehouse Timebank, Oasis Cafe, Gloucester Court Performers, Plymouth Community Homes, and Neswick Street X Factor singers.

Plus some new events and activities including... Hoola Hoopers, music from Catskin Blues and Plymouth Reggae Society, hair styling demos from Bazz's Barbers, Bottlejack and Hastener "Engineers of Modern Wonders & Delightful Distractions" instant publishing camera, smoothie making with the Youth Service, Plymouth Creative School, Comic Book workshops, Plymouth Energy Community, Devon and Cornwall Food Association, Shed on Wheels and lots more.

We would like to thank our sponsors so far...Plymouth College of Art, Millfields Trust, Bruce Firth, Jim Rhodes - the Tyre Garage, and Deltor

Thank you to our in kind supporters... Ali Babas, Maxines, 51Studio, Dom Moore Photography, FotoNow, Take A Part, Bottlejack and Hastener, Stonehouse Play Association, Plymouth Creative School and Plymouth City Council.

We still need sponsorship to help us put on the best party so far!

As little as £50 will help us promote the event and publish a programme for the day, or £100 helps us cover the expenses for a band that has offered to play for free.  £500 would help sponsor the main stage.

Stonehouse Action is made up of local volunteers and we have a track record of promoting our sponsors widely, supporting local and small businesses and raising the profile of Union Street and celebrating its past, present and future.

If you would like to sponsor us please e-mail stonehouseaction@yahoo.co.uk or call or message 07801 704 872.
