Police appeal after man attempts to steal moped in Manadon

Police are appealing for information after a man attempted to steal a moped in Manadon, Plymouth on Wednesday 21 August.

A white man in dark clothing was seen attempting to steal a blue Kymco moped on St Peters Road just after midnight.

He failed in his attempts but due to the damage caused by the suspect, the bike is now inoperable.

Fire and Rescue Service cut teenage girl stuck out of baby swing

The Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to a location in Manadon Park, Tavistock Road in the Manadon area of Plymouth yesterday (Tuesday 20 August), after receiving a report of a teenage girl stuck in a baby swing.

One fire appliance from Camels Head was sent to the scene.

The fire crew used hydraulic cutters to release the girl from the swing.
