Plymouth has been named as one of the UK's first ‘social enterprise cities’.
The announcement on Tuesday (24 September 2013) was made by Social Enterprise UK, a national body which recognised the extent and quality of social enterprise business activity in the city. Bristol has also been awarded the status.
