Create, enjoy, explore - fun sessions for the under 5s

Play, explore, paint, stick, sing or make - anything's possible in an Imaginators session as your pre-school children are taken on a journey around our galleries, objects and paintings by one of our Learning Officers, having loads of fun as they go.

The children learn to build relationships and try their hand at a variety of creative activities using their developing skills - and their imaginations!

Younger siblings/older babies are welcome too.

Almighty Myths

Gods and Goddesses provide inspiration for Museum's Big Draw activities

The families and myths of the Roman Gods are the focus for a fun, family-friendly Big Draw event at Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery on Saturday 19 November.

'Almighty Myths' will run from 10.30am to 1pm with last entries at 12.30pm. The event has been organised by the Young Explainers, a group of students from Plymouth University who are working with the Museum on a special project to produce new information about its historically important Cottonian Collection.

Adventures In Music: Hooray for the Hang! with Manu Delago

Bring your young ones along to the Museum as Manu Delago Handmade present an exciting interactive session inspired by elements of jazz, pop and classical music.
